Beautiful Silence

The sky, in its glinting glow

tells a story that I have yet to know.

The moon and the stars alike

all have the same look of utter strife.

The clouds coming apart above

will never feel everlasting love.

The world in its beautiful silence

will always and forever be here, timeless.

I will make my journey there and back

before any living thing can keep track.

But the sky, with all its wonder,

will always see where I land.

And everything will remain in beautiful silence

for as long as I know,

as long as I am.
